Why not spend your holidays in Spain's most beautiful little town - Sitges, the pearl of the Mediterranean Sea!
Sitges has it all:
- beautiful and well-kept beaches
- a vast number of lively cafés, bars, restaurants and discos for great nights out
- a charming historical town centre (don't forget your camera!)
- a worldwide reputation for its easy-going gay scene
Visit Sitges during the Carnival season to celebrate and enjoy the great parade on Mardi Gras. Or come in August for the Fiesta Mayor which culminates in a splendid display of fireworks on the 23rd. But Sitges is also worth visiting at the time of Corpus Christi when the streets are lavishly covered in carpets of fresh flowers. Sitges is a well-known venue of conventions and conferences, including a major film festival in October.
With three airports close by, getting here is easy.
Barcelona (BCN) - c. 27 km
Tarragona Reus (REU) - c. 55 km
Girona (GOA) c. 140 km
The latter offers a bus shuttle to the centre of Barcelona from where you can travel to Sitges by train.
